Former Cheltenham Gold Cup winners Lord Windermere and Bobs Worth have been named among 35 initial entries for this year’s race on 13 March.
Two-time King George VI Chase winner Silviniaco Conti is also included and will look to make it third-time lucky for the race.
The Paul Nicholls-trained nine-year-old fell and finished fourth in the last two renewals of the race.
The first five finishers in last year’s contest could all face each other.
Lord Windermere, ridden by Davy Russell, trained by Jim Culloty and owned by Dr Ronan Lambe, held off the challenge of On His Own, The Giant Bolster, Silviniaco Conti and Bobs Worth to win in 2014.
Bobs Worth won the Gold Cup in 2013 for trainer Nicky Henderson.
